Tactile light switch

The essence of this object resides in the play between texture and reflection.
Very discreet during daytime, the pattern reveals itself when night falls. The switch then becomes slightly bright, enough to stay visible. The light reflects off the textures and fades at the ends of the switch. Indirect light also plays with the environment around it by reflecting slightly off the wall. The decisive feature of this project is the subtlety of the light intensity. This design process makes the switch easier to see in the dark.
